Frank WILKINSON, 74, died at his home north of Parkersburg   Sunday afternoon at a little past 3:00 o'clock of a heart attack.   Mr. Wilkinson was the son of Israel and Rebecca Foster Wilkinson   was born Feb 19, 1878 near Browns Valley and moved from there to   his last residence in 1942. He married Blanche SERVIES on Dec 15,   1901. Mr. Wilkinson as chairman of the AAA in Montgomery Co. for   the past 14 years. He was a charter member and a director of the   State bank of Russellville where he served as president for the   past 30 years and was a charter member of Montgomery County Farm   Bureau. Surviving in addition to the widow, include a daughter,   Mrs. Robert McMURRAY near Browns Valley; a son, Clair WILKINSON   of Parkersburg; four grandsons a half sister, Lou Surface of new   Market; a brother, Ollie Wilkinson of Indianapolis and a   brother-in-law, George E. Pitts of Russellville. Funeral services   were conducted Wed. afternoon for the Missionary Baptist Church   at Browns Valley. Burial in Indian Creek Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz

E. Frank Wilkinson, 74, chairman of the Montgomery County Production and Marketing Association, died Sunday at 3:22 p. m. at his home near Parkersburg. He had been ill for some time with a heart ailment. Mr. Wilkinson, youngest son of Israel and Rebecca Foster Wilkinson, was born Feb. 19, 1878, a mile and a quarter south of Browns Valley. He moved from there to the home where he died in 1942. He was married Dec. 15, 1901, to Blanche Servies, who survives. Mr. Wilkinson had served as chairman of the AAA, now the PMA, in Montgomery County for the past 14 years. He was a charter member and director of the State Bank of Russellville, having served as president of the bank for the past 30 years. He was also a charter member of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau. Although in failing health for the past four years, Mr. Wilkinson continued to take an active part in these and other organizations. Survivors, in addition to the widow, include a daughter, Mrs. Robert McMurry, near Browns Valley; a son, Clair Wilkinson, near Parkersburg; four grandsons, Bill, Bob, and David Wilkinson and Charles McMurry; a half-sister, Mrs. Lou Surface, New Market; a brother, Ollie Wilkinson, Indianapolis, and a brother-in-law, George E. Pitts, Russellville. He was preceded in death by a sister, four brothers, a half-sister, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Missionary Baptist Church in Browns Valley. Friends may pay their respects at the family residence near Parkersburg. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the services.
